New Holme Karoo Guest Farm

New Holme Guest Farm is situated within the newly proclaimed Karoo Gariep Nature Reserve, managed by PC and Marisca Ferreira. The nature reserve is the original Ferreira farm land, now a combination of nature, game and sheep farming. We love to share the Karoo and its original natural state with our guests. There are a few daily activities we offer in order to get our guest to experience the Karoo , like a sunset drive to the Hippo pool , seeing the only hippo population in the Northern Cape , we do a Buchman Etching walk in the mornings , before breakfast we do an early morning birding drive and also a night drive after dinner. The night drives are very popular as we quite often see Aardwolf and Aardvark.

New Holme are well furnished to complement our Wedding venue and the guests it attract. All rooms are en-suite, have air conditioners for the very hot days and heating up the cold winter nights , also electric blankets on the beds in winter. Set in beautiful lush gardens with big lawns and lots of trees that attract lots of birds. New Holme takes pride in our very popular 3 course dinners we prepare. Dinners need to be pre booked and are a combination of traditional Karoo dishes , we also serve breakfast.
