Prince Albert, a small historical village nestled at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains, is the jewel of the Great Karoo. Situated in the centre of the main street is the village’s only hotel, the Swartberg Hotel.
 
LOCATION: Prince Albert is approximately 400 km from Cape Town, and can be reached from the N1 (turn off at Prince Albert Road), or from Route 62 and the N2 via the world-renowned Swartberg Pass or through Meiringpoort. The Swartberg Hotel is situated in the main street of Prince Albert.

13 comfortable rooms in the main building plus 5 cottages located in the garden.  All air-conditioned with tea/coffee making facilities, telephone and television.

Food lovers can enjoy local specialities such as Karoo lamb, olives, artisan breads and award-winning cheeses. For the adventurous the area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, cycling and mountain-biking. 
The Swartberg Hotel is the ideal location for a small conference or wedding, and can accommodate up to 40 delegates.
