De Doornkraal Country Estate is located in the heart of Riversdale on the Garden Route.
The historic De Doornkraal Homestead is one of the original structures of the farm Doornkraal proclaimed in 1746. The homestead was built in the latter part of the 18th Century and is named after famous author and artist Johannes Meintjes, who was born there.  Also to be seen here is a 200-year-old vine, the oldest on the Garden Route.

The 12 luxurious, spacious en-suite double/twin rooms (with bath & shower) each have a private entrance, safe, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, fan/heater and tea & coffee facilities. Communal lounge with an honesty bar.
