The Andros Boutique Hotel is a gracious Cape Dutch homestead, built in 1908 and designed by Sir Herbert Baker. Restored and updated, carefully preserving its old-world charm, the house is set in large, mature park-like gardens in the heart of Claremont, one of Cape Town’s beautiful Southern suburbs. The Manor house is furnished in elegant and traditional style, complementing the original features of this beautiful graceful home.
Unwind after a long day touring, sight-seeing or playing a round of golf, with a good book, in the serene sun room or the quiet drawing room. Enjoy some of our freshly prepared cocktails or pre-dinner drinks in the champagne room adjacent to our restaurant DINE, where superb food is served.
Relax at the pool or work out in the well equipped gym and sauna. Our beauty salon, Bliss, has two treatment rooms with two fully qualified beauticians on duty daily where you can spoil yourself with a personalized treatment to suit your needs.
The conference room has all the latest equipment for small intimate conferences and can seat up to 20 delegates comfortably.
Set in the garden are eight new spacious bedrooms, each with its own veranda and a view over the lush garden. The luxury room has its own separate entrance and living area as well as private swimming pool. The four original bedrooms in the manor house, each individually decorated in a traditional style, have beautiful garden and mountain views. The rooms are furnished with all the luxuries to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. |

Directions from the airport
· Follow the N2 towards Cape Town.
· When close to the mountain, take the M3 exit on the left towards Muizenberg.
· Stay on the M3 and take the exit towards Claremont, which is soon after the first set of traffic lights, just after a Shell petrol station.
· At a traffic circle, go right into the M152, Newlands Road.
· About 1km further you will see The Andros sign on your right, on the corner of Newlands and Phyllis Road.
· Turn right into Phyllis Road. We are the first entrance on the left.
Directions from the city
· Take the N2 toward the Airport.
· When the road reaches a peak and goes down quite steeply, be sure to get into the right lane. Take the exit on the right for the M3 towards Muizenberg.
· Stay on the M3 and take the exit towards Claremont, which is soon after the first set of traffic lights, just after a petrol station.
· At a traffic circle, continue straight ahead into Newlands Road (M152).
· About 1km further you will see The Andros sign on your right, on the corner of Newlands and Phyllis Road.
· Turn right into Phyllis Road. We are the first entrance on the left. |
